To kick off Feasts and Festivalsa photography exhibition and program series—MOFAD and the Mexican Cultural Institute are hosting a Día de los Muertos/Day of the Dead party. Featuring a community altar, crafts, bites from Roberto Santibañez's FONDA restaurant, pan de muerto ("bread of the dead"), Mexican hot chocolate from Hernán, and more, this event will explore the meaning, significance, and foods behind this annual Mexican celebration.

With the help of Mexican photographer Irma Bohórquez-Geisler we will set up a community altar de muertos, so bring with you a picture of the person you want to remember this day, along with some of their favorite food and drinks.
